No matter where we go you'll see a security camera, they are everywhere and here to stay. But how effective are all of these high tech cameras and recording devices. With the saturation of the airwaves by cell phones, cordless phones, Wi-Fi, etc… current camera systems using 1.2 GHz and 2.4 GHz frequencies, are experencing interference due to the over crowding of the airwaves on these two frequencies. The 5.8 GHz band is not crowded like the 1.2 and 2.4 GHz bands.
